Additionally, I want to thank Polly DiBella for hosting us in her yoga studio, DiBella Yoga, many times since we made the move to PA. In the beginning, our facility was not ready, so she allowed us to hold trainings there. Then, there were several times that problems with our West Chester PA facility made it unusable, and she offered her space or housed us for a day.
As you know, the fire was a total property loss. We have plenty of work cut out for us in getting relocated and rebuilding from the ashes. Looking back, it is clear that we had many problems with the West Chester PA location - including heat, plumbing and finally electrical. In addition, it was too small - we had to turn people away from several courses because there wasn't room. It truly is a blessing in disguise that we are looking for a new home, as we are looking for a larger home!
Our Board of Directors recently met for two full days to clarify Master Yoga's vision and purpose, especially in light of the transformation thrust upon us by the "fire of yoga." Their clarity and leadership will define our mission for the future, and guide us through the rebuilding and the fund-raising that will make it possible. You will be receiving a letter soon, detailing our needs and sharing our vision and purpose. We are excited to be unveiling the full plan at our November Conference, "Outside and Inside."
We are currently negotiating on a new facility, 10 minutes away from our West Chester PA site. It is significantly larger, with a wonderful meditative environment. We will let you know as soon as we know!
