You already teach Meditation classes and lead Discussion Groups, bringing your students beyond yoga poses with great success. Now you can take your students to the next level - through a deeper process of understanding the ancient texts and teachings of yoga philosophy.
Each Teaching Yoga Sutras (TYS) course begins with a Sutra Studies phone course with Rama, interwoven with a Sutras Teacher phone course. This is followed by a 5-day in-person training course that prepares you to teach these profound and inspiring principles, along with related practices that enliven your experience and understanding. You'll earn certifications along the way to recognize your ability to teach the different texts you have trained in.

Prerequisites: Meditation Teacher Training, TYS #1 (Leading a Discussion Group) and evaluation of success in holding these programs, current on Continuing Ed requirements, SATYA member.

Teaching the Pratyabhijnahrdayam NEW

Teaching the Pratyabhijnahrdayam phone calls - Rama will deepen your understanding of the sutras and teachings presented in the Svaroopa® Sutras phone calls. These calls will be scheduled during the above course.
Pratyabhijnahrdayam Training - the in-person training where you learn to give the talks and answer questions. This will be offered in early 2009.
This course is TYS #3. You become a Certified Teacher of the Pratyabhijnahrdayam, upon successful completion of all 3 components of this training and the homework.
